Help

This page is for whoever lands here: a Section board member, an incoming Erasmus Student, a Trail player holding a Team Code, or someone who found a photograph of themselves on a Section's public page. Find your situation below.

Find your way in

A board member or ESN'er

Already have an account? Log in. If you're joining a Section for the first time, your board sends you an invite link by email — open that link first; it takes you to a form that creates your account already linked to your Section. Registering without one leaves you unaffiliated, and your board can't fix that afterwards — so if you don't have a link yet, ask them to send you one rather than creating an account on your own.

An incoming Erasmus Student

Your Section sends a personal invitation link to your own email address — it's a separate link from the board one above, and opening it starts your own onboarding directly: your profile, a Buddy if your Section has assigned you one, and your Person Book all follow from it. If your link has expired or you never received one, ask your Section rather than trying the sign-up form meant for board members.

A Trail player with a Team Code

An organiser forms your team ahead of the event, and the Team Code they give you is what gets you into the game — head to City Trail and enter it. No account, no sign-up: your code works while the Run is on, and keeps working afterwards so you can see the final scores once the organiser closes it.

Someone who found a photo of themselves

Some Sections publish a Showcase of event photographs on their own public page. If you're in one and would rather not be, look for the “I'm in this photo” link next to it — no account needed, just tell us why. A person at that Section reviews every request and decides; we don't promise a timeframe, and removal is their call, not automatic. If they take it down, that photo cannot be republished later. One thing worth knowing: a browser or device that already loaded the page can keep showing a copy it cached for a few minutes even after a photo comes down.

Frequently asked questions

What is Erasmus Network?
Management for an ESN Section's board across a term — the roster, events and budget it hands over intact — built alongside a companion for the Erasmus Students living through that term, and the memory that outlasts them both. See the homepage for the full story of what a term looks like, start to finish.
How do I get access?
It depends on who you are. A board member or ESN'er joins through an invite link their Section emails them. An incoming Erasmus Student gets their own, separate personal link that starts onboarding directly. A Trail player needs only a Team Code, handed out by whoever is running the event — no account at all. See “Find your way in” above for details on each.
What does the panel do?
Members & roles: invite people, assign roles, and keep the roster current so it hands over intact at the end of a term.
Events & door check-in: run Section Events, free or paid, with a door that checks people in as they arrive.
Budget & Treasurer: track income and expenses; for a paid event, the Treasurer takes payments that don't go through the payment provider — IBAN or cash.
Buddy programme: pair incoming Erasmus Students with an ESN'er buddy from day one.
Trail: write a walking route through your city once, then run it as a City Trail event as many times as you like.
The companion & memory surfaces: every Erasmus Student gets their own profile, events and Person Book; every event keeps an Event Album for the people checked in at its door; and the Section Book stays open to anyone affiliated, year after year, and never freezes.
Section Public Page: once your Section is a Candidate or full Section, you can open your own outward-facing page with a Showcase of event photographs. Once you've published one, your Section's most recent Showcase photograph can also appear on the homepage, linking back to your page — findable by anyone, without needing your Section's code.
I found a photo of myself on a Section's public page. What do I do?
Look for the “I'm in this photo” link beside it on that Section's page — it needs no account, just your reason. A person at that Section reviews the request and decides; there's no promised timeframe, and no promise the photo comes down, since that decision is theirs. If it's upheld, that photo won't be republished.
I forgot my password. What do I do?
Reset it yourself — nobody needs to do it for you. Go to Forgot password, enter your account's email, and follow the link it sends you.
I have a Team Code for a Trail. What do I do with it?
Head to City Trail and enter it there. It was made for your team by the event's organiser and needs no account. Keep it after the Run — it's how you see the final scores once the organiser closes the game.
How do I contact support?
For anything about your own Section, start with your board — they're usually faster than we are. For a technical problem, or if your board can't help, email us at esncanakkale@esnturkey.org.
I want to open a new Section on this platform
Email us at esncanakkale@esnturkey.org with your Section, your role, and what you're looking for. We'll get back to you.
