A term, start to finish
The term opens
A new Term starts with people, not paperwork: an Erasmus Student arrives through an onboarding link and is matched with a Buddy from day one, while the Section's own member roster fills in behind them. None of it becomes visible to your National Organization unless your Section grants it — closed by default, the whole way up.
The term runs
Through the Term, the Section runs its own events — free or paid, some of them a Trail through the city that teams walk together — with a door that checks people in as they arrive, while the Treasurer takes the money that doesn't come through the payment provider, by IBAN or in cash. Alongside it, every Erasmus Student keeps their own companion — their profile, their events, their Person Book.
The term ends
A board's handover carries more than a spreadsheet: the roster archives instead of vanishing, a Section Book keeps being written in by whoever arrives after — it never freezes — and every event keeps its own Event Album for the people who were there. A Person Book does freeze: it quietly closes fourteen days after its owner stops being part of the Section. The institution's memory survives the person, and that's not written into this page — it's what the data itself does at handover time.
